Where to Catch Live Music in Lisbon This Spring

Lisbon has one of the most varied live music scenes in Europe, and this spring is no exception. Here's where to find it.

For traditional fado, the Casa de Fado da Mouraria in Alfama is the best entry point — an intimate venue with reliable quality, often featuring established names alongside emerging artists. For something less tourist-facing, ask locally for tasquinhas in Mouraria or Bairro Alto that have live fado nights.

For big international concerts, Estádio da Luz hosts Coldplay on April 15th — still a few tickets available at higher price tiers. The MEO Arena in Parque das Nações also runs a regular programme.

The jazz scene is quieter but present: hard to miss the LX Factory programme on weekends, and the clean-up of the Timeout Market's music stage continues to grow each month.
